East Entry Constructed at the Peoples Bank Building

Concrete is mixed to join the blocks together. — Crews mix cement before applying it between concrete blocks.

Masonry crews are constructing the recessed entry on the east side of the Peoples Bank building. Using cement and concrete block, the wall is being built with embedded metal reinforcement rods to ensure long-term stability. The entry anchors the east side with durable materials while maintaining the building’s historic design on Cleveland Street.

Steel rebar strengthens the block wall. — Crew members install metal rods to reinforce the wall.

New entry is framed in masonry. — The recessed entry takes shape as crews build it with concrete blocks.
