First Floor Interior Trim Installation Underway at the Woolworth Building

Trim pieces for ceiling framing. — Dark wood trim is installed on the coffered ceiling.

Crews are installing interior trim on the first floor of the Woolworth building, starting in the hallways and lobby entryway. Trim pieces are secured along the upper and lower wall edges using precision power tools. The team is also installing trim on the coffered ceiling, where each recessed section is framed with dark wood trim. This trim adds depth and reflects the building’s 1930s character and period-appropriate detail. The installation marks an important milestone in bringing definition and historically accurate architectural design to the building’s ground floor.
