Interior finishing work continues inside the historic Peoples Bank Building as crews smooth recently applied drywall compound in preparation for the first coat of paint. Using sandpaper by hand, workers refine wall and ceiling surfaces, sharpening corners, columns and roof overhangs to create clean transitions throughout the renovated interior.
The sanding process marks a shift from rough construction toward finish work inside the 1910 landmark Building. Once complete, the prepared surfaces will receive primer and paint, helping define the updated interior spaces while preserving the character of one of downtown Clearwater’s historically significant structures.
