Interior demolition continues at the Brown Brothers Building, where crews carefully remove plaster along a structural beam on the first floor. Using handheld tools, material is chipped away in sections, exposing the original brick masonry and the full depth of the beam connection within the wall.

As finish layers are stripped back, the connection between the structural beam and surrounding masonry becomes visible, offering a clearer view of how the building was originally constructed. This selective removal allows for detailed inspection while preserving key structural elements that will remain integral to the restoration.
