Exterior Utility Removal Prepares Brown Brothers For Restoration

Crews remove obsolete utility lines from Brown Brothers exterior wall. — From an elevated work platform, crews remove outdated utility lines along the Brown Brothers exterior.

Crews are removing obsolete exterior wiring, conduit and piping from the Brown Brothers Building at 615–621 Cleveland Street as restoration work progresses. The work clears non-original utility elements from the façade in preparation for a new electrical system and upcoming exterior restoration. Removing these later additions also provides unobstructed access for future façade repairs and restoration activities.
