In the historic lobby of Peoples Bank, hand-troweled Venetian plaster wainscoting now revives the building’s original elegance. Composed of powdered marble, natural limestone and water, this plaster has been a classic interior finish for thousands of years. The wainscoting is framed by a marble base and chair rail, meticulously recreating the original 1920s design and complementing the restored Mediterranean Revival style.
The completed finish achieves traditional depth and texture, highlighting craftsmanship and historical accuracy while supporting modern use.
