Crews at the Peoples Bank building are preparing window openings for the installation of historically accurate replacements. Using paint brushes and rollers, the team applies a primer that acts as both an air- and water-resistive barrier. The waterproof coating is applied to the masonry and wood bucking with mesh, sealing joints and protecting each opening against air and moisture intrusion. This process contributes to long-term energy efficiency and interior comfort.
