A Concrete Slab Is Poured Around New Grease Traps at Peoples Bank

Crews at the historic Peoples Bank building completed another important step in the restoration process by installing and leveling two grease traps and preparing the surrounding area for a concrete pour. This included forming the slab edges and installing structural reinforcements to ensure stability and durability. Once the framework was in place, concrete was poured, creating a new slab that integrated the grease traps seamlessly into the evolving structure.

Reinforcing steel surrounds the newly installed grease traps.

Rebar was installed on the ground and around the grease traps in preparation for the concrete slab pour.
