Crews are actively installing the east storefront at the Peoples Bank building, bringing one of the most visible ground-level features into place. Work began with carefully setting and securing the metal storefront frame so it aligns cleanly within the opening. With the framing anchored, crews then moved on to installing the doors, adjusting them so they sit correctly and operate smoothly. Once the system is fully secured, the final step will be installing the door glass and sealing the edges to protect the storefront from air and water intrusion. This phase of work marks a noticeable step forward as the restored storefront begins to take its final form.
