Crews at the Peoples Bank building are installing drywall around the elevator landing. The elevator itself has been installed, and work now focuses on the surrounding interior surfaces. Wall specialists are fitting moisture-resistant drywall into the spaces around the metal elevator frame. This drywall fills the gap between the concrete structure and the opening, starting the process of integrating the elevator landing into the area while also preparing it for paint and final finishes.
