Drywall Removal Completes on the First Floor of the Brown Brothers Building

Exposed framing on the Brown Brothers Building's first floor.
First floor framing is exposed during drywall removal.

Crews finished removing all the drywall from the first floor of the historic Brown Brothers Building. This step exposes the underlying framing along with the mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems, which are slated for removal.

With the interior structure open, restoration teams can continue preparing the building for the next phase of restoration work.
