Peoples Bank East Entry Takes Shape as Restoration Advances

Installing hardware on entry doors. — The metal frame for the east entry doors is secured at the Peoples Bank building.

Progress continues at the Peoples Bank building as key work is completed at the east entry, bringing the structure closer to its finished historic appearance. The process includes securing the metal door frames, carefully aligning the doors for smooth operation and setting hurricane-proof glass into place to provide strength and weather protection suited to Florida’s climate. The doors are finished with a durable powder coating that complements the building’s 1930s-inspired design. Together, these elements complete another visible portion of the exterior, reinforcing both the function and historic character of the Peoples Bank building.
