Second-Floor Electrical Installation Progresses at the Peoples Bank Building

Conduit installation
New conduit and wiring provide power for lighting and outlets in the restored spaces.

Electricians at the Peoples Bank building are installing flexible metal conduits across the second-floor ceilings to power future office spaces. The conduits connect a network of preinstalled electrical boxes that will bring power to lighting, outlets and appliances throughout the restored rooms. Each conduit section is measured and routed precisely before wires are pulled through and fitted into the electrical boxes. The lines run back to the main electrical closet, ensuring power flows efficiently to every section of the floor. This phase brings modern electrical capability to the historic structure, supporting both restoration and long-term safe functionality for future tenants.
