Specialty Glass Arrives for West Wall at the Peoples Bank Building

Specialty glass panels are carefully transferred from the delivery truck to the site.

A delivery of specialty glass for the west wall arrived at the Peoples Bank Building, marking another step forward in the building’s restoration. Each glass panel weighs more than 400 pounds and is designed to meet modern safety standards while remaining fire-resistant, providing added protection without sacrificing natural light. With the glass now on site, crews are preparing the metal support system that will hold the panels in place once installation begins. This delivery moves the project forward while balancing contemporary building requirements with the careful restoration of the historic structure.
