Structural Steel Installed at the Peoples Bank Building

A major step forward was achieved in restoring the historic Peoples Bank building. Crews completed installing structural steel throughout the interior, placing steel columns and beams to reinforce the original framework. The steel also supports long-term stability while allowing the building to meet modern standards.

Engineered to integrate with the existing structure, the new steel elements were fabricated off-site and delivered to the property, following detailed drawings issued by the structural team. This careful sequence, from design through fabrication to installation, ensures that every beam contributes directly to the future longevity of the century-old landmark.
