Window Installation Preparation Underway at the Peoples Bank Building

Crews at the Peoples Bank building are preparing the upper-floor window openings for installation by securing and sealing new framing. Each section of metal framing is fastened into place, forming the structural base for historically accurate window units. Once the frames are aligned, crew members apply caulk around the edges to ensure a watertight seal between the frame and the bucking. The caulk is smoothed to create a clean, seamless joint that blends into the historic façade. This detailed preparation ensures that when the new windows are installed, they will not only look authentic but also perform to modern standards of efficiency and weather resistance.
