Specialists are measuring and fitting custom brass cladding at the east interior entrance of the Peoples Bank building, carefully aligning each piece to define the doorway and transom openings. The cladding—thin, formed brass panels applied as a finished surface—is cut and positioned using precise layout techniques to ensure a tight, consistent fit across the entry doors.

The brass reflects the building’s original architectural character, where metal-framed entrances and transoms played a key role in both function and design. Once installed, the cladding will frame the glass doors and upper transoms, restoring the material richness and visual depth typical of early 20th-century commercial façades.
