Crews at the Peoples Bank building removed the outdated elevator mechanical room, reclaiming the building’s original architectural profile. The removal required a team of 15 specialists and the use of a crane to delicately dismantle concrete blocks and metal housing.

The operation was executed with care, block by block, restoring a key historic view of this landmark building. With the elevator room gone, the building’s silhouette once again reflects its 1920s origins.
