As part of demolition work at 639 Cleveland Street, crews completed removal of all the non-load-bearing wall studs. This critical step clears the way for structural assessments and future framing. The removed studs were not part of the building’s original historical structure. They formed the interior partitions, most of which had been added during later-era remodels unrelated to the building’s original commercial layout.

With the interior fully cleared, the building now presents a blank slate for architects and engineers to begin drafting the next phase of its redevelopment. New framing will follow as part of the full renovation effort planned for this prominent three-story property on Cleveland Street.
