On the second floor of the historic Brown Brothers Building, crews are removing all doors and surrounding wood frames not slated for historical restoration. The work involves dismantling several dozen wooden doors and frames outside the preservation plan, ensuring that only historically significant features remain. This careful demolition clears the way for structural and interior upgrades while protecting elements slated for restoration.
