Wood Wall Studs Are Removed at the Brown Brothers Building

Partially dismantled wood framing. — Select wall studs being removed.

Selective removal of interior wooden framing studs has begun at the Brown Brothers Building. This follows the stripping of drywall and stucco finishes from the interior walls. Crews are using hammers to take out select studs. Once removed, the studs leave behind cleared spaces for the next stage of historical restoration.
