While much of the Telephone Building’s restoration can be seen from the street, some of the most important improvements are hidden inside its walls. Crews installed a full suite of modern systems—including 800 feet of ductwork, new plumbing and a 1,200-amp electrical upgrade.

The new HVAC system includes a Carrier split air-conditioning unit and a dedicated outside air system to enhance ventilation. Over 515 feet of new copper piping ensures long-term plumbing reliability.

These system upgrades ensure comfort, energy efficiency and code compliance—all while honoring the building’s historic shell.
