Window openings along the west wall are being prepared for the upcoming installation of specialty glass, marking another step in the restoration process. As each glass panel weighs approximately 400 pounds, a carefully planned support system is required before installation can begin. To prepare, crews are installing and aligning metal brackets inside the window openings, ensuring the glass will be securely supported once set in place. Using exterior lifts, the team is able to access precise attachment points and verify proper alignment, setting the stage for the next phase of work and continuing the steady progress on the building’s restored exterior.
