Interior Wood Framing Removal Is Underway at the Brown Brothers Building

Wood studs from former wall systems are cleared from the 2nd floor of the Brown Brothers Building.

Crews are actively removing old interior wood framing inside the Brown Brothers Building, clearing out sections of earlier wall construction to prepare for new work. These long-standing structural elements once defined interior layouts and supported finishes, and their removal opens the space for updated systems and new configurations.

Using lift equipment, crews efficiently transport the removed wood framing from upper floors to ground level for disposal. This phase marks a key step in renewing the building’s interior, allowing for new framing, utilities and finishes to be installed with precision.
