Second-Floor Demolition Begins at the Brown Brothers Building

Interior walls are being dismantled during the second floor demolition.
Crews begin second-floor wall demolition at the Brown Brothers Building.

Interior demolition is underway on the second floor of the historic Brown Brothers Building at 615 Cleveland Street. Crews began removing nonstructural wall sections, starting with the drywall. This careful removal exposes the wood framing and existing electrical systems, which will be extracted. The work is part of the building’s full restoration—returning the 1924 structure to its architectural roots while preparing it for modern use.
